The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta (originally known as the Federation of Jewish Charities) is founded.

1984

The Federation’s Planned Giving & Endowment Committee begins offering donor-advised funds, and grows into the Atlanta Jewish Foundation — the region’s trusted resource for Jewish philanthropy.
