When COVID-19 struck, we all responded quickly to urgent needs. Your generosity was incredible — it saved lives! Now Jewish Foundations Forum, in partnership with the Jewish Funders Network (JFN), has the opportunity to think strategically about how our future philanthropic investments can make an even greater impact in our community.
Join us on Thursday, December 3 and Thursday, December 10 for two very special meetings of the Jewish Foundations Forum. We’ll be working through a set of scenarios developed by Jewish Funders Network to help us as funders think about how our giving can make a significant difference knowing that the future is uncertain. Learn more about JFN Scenario Planning in this article or visit the JFN website.
Our work with JFN CEO Andres Spoikony and his team in December will be customized for Atlanta funders so that we can address our local community context and response. This session for funders only, paired with the work that JFN is doing with multiple sectors of the Jewish community in Atlanta this fall, makes us one of the first cities in the Jewish community to take such a comprehensive approach identifying community needs and opportunities resulting from the pandemic. Together, we will build an even stronger Jewish community.
